This project was carried out as part of my internship at Yellow Design as a form and CMF study for Blue Sanitary. Modeled in Solidworks and visualized in Blender.
The goal of the project was to create a new series for the award-winning bath accessories incorporating new materials introduced by Blue Sanitary. For my design I opted for a more feminine design aesthetic to create a contrast with the often minimal designs of the previous collections. The lines that flow across the surface embellish the handle with a contemporary pattern, aligning with a current trend in Asia where products are frequently decorated with patterns.

Vertical lines, commonly seen in popular trend products like the Thermomix 7, add visual interest and dynamism to the handle’s surface. Simultaneously, the textured design enhances the tactile experience, making the handle interesting to hold.

Along with the redesigned surface, the back of the handle features a rounded shape and a slightly thicker profile than its predecessor, enhancing ergonomics for a more comfortable grip.

The series will be available in three materials, including a new gold-tone option.
