EZ-Scan is a concept design project for a gadget wall scanner to easily identify cables and pipes inside walls. It's targeted towards non professional users in a home environment.
Testing the printed models revealed, when holding the initial iterations, the hands often covers the bottom screen. By relocating the screen to the top, the placement of the button felt intuitive in the upper right corner.
The hole located in the lower section of the scanner is designed for marking points on the scanned portion of the wall using a pen.
