Colorella
design team, CAD modeling, 3D visualizations

This project began during my internship and continued throughout my time as a freelance designer with the company. The objective was to develop a new visual identity for an existing pen line.

Under the creative direction of Ulf Plihal, we created a floral-inspired design for the pen cap. The client, Pelikan, wanted the new design to complement another pen line within their portfolio that also features a floral theme, while establishing its own distinct visual character.

My role focused on CAD development and the creation of high-quality 3D visualizations. A key consideration throughout the project was translating the intricate floral design into a manufacturable surface while maintaining its visual appeal. The project required careful consideration of manufacturing constraints, as well as advanced surface modeling techniques to achieve a seamless integration of the pattern into the cap geometry.

As the project is still under a non-disclosure agreement, further details are not yet available for public release.
